Mary I. “Sally” Clopton, 91, of Magnolia, Ky. passed away on May 6, 2024, at her home surrounded by family.

Rev. Marvin Ira Lane passed away on Dec. 28, 2023 in Columbia, S.C. after a short illness. Marvin was predeceased in 2014 by his wife of 25 years, Patricia Anne Tyler Lane.

Born to George W. and LoVerne Brown on Apr. 26, 1936 in Juneau, Alaska, Tony was the oldest of three children. He passed peacefully on Nov. 1, 2023.

Brigadier John R RIgby, a friend to many in the CFA, passed peacefully on Aug 31, 2022.

Barbara Berry Flynn, 69, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2018, at her home. She was born on July 25, 1948, in Fort Smith, Aransas, to the late Arthur and Frances (Gearhart) Berry. She was the loving wife of Warren Flynn, Jr., for 48 years.

Chipley Arthur Clopton passed away peacefully on January 2, 2018. He was born in 1936 in Pensacola, Florida, the eldest child of Captain Sidney and Agnes (Lockwood) Clopton.

The late Gene Carlton Clopton was a printer by trade whose avocation was genealogical research. He founded the Clopton Family Association in 1984, the same year his book "The Clopton Family: Ancestors and Descendants of William Clopton of York County, Virginia" was published.
