In 2018, the Clopton Family Association met in Springdale, Arkansas.
In the early 2000s, William Bernard "Bill" Clopton - over two years - made a very generous donation for repairs to the historically significant painted glass that enhances The Holy Trinity Church in Long Melford, Suffolk, England. The only request Bill had in return was that flowers be placed twice a year in the Clopton Chantry Chapel as a memorial to his late wife, Louise Miller Clopton, and their only child, the late Boyd "Bud" Clopton.
